Cash is crawling. Well more of an army crawl, but still very mobile. Once Cash was immobile, content sitting and exploring what was within his reach. Now a whole new world opens up: mobility.
A world where my hands aren’t quit as interesting anymore as my closet , or the diaper bag across the room. A world where the sound of my voice is no longer enough to instantly put him to sleep, but requires a binki, his own bed, and a quiet room. It means I'm boxing up the little clothing, and filling his drawers with the big. It means when I leave the room, he knows, and is on my tail.
A world where he has figured out that there is more to it than just eating and sleeping. A world where there are endless things to be touched, thrown, tasted, discovered and explored.
Part of me is a little sad this “immobile baby” chapter is over. It means as he gets older the less he will need me. The other part of me loves to watch him discover what this world has to offer.

Well said. I really enjoyed this post.
I enjoyed this too. It's sad to see them grow up, but they get to be so much fun.
